Last Game at Shea

Today is the last game at Shea Stadium:(. I am very sad. I did get to go their however. I'm

really angry that ESPN is completely ignoring it after all they did for yankee stadium. I mean

sure they haven't won 26 world series title or had Muhammad Ali, but their stadium still has a rich

history. If you agree please comment. Thanks.

Kevin Burkhart Rules!

Ok. if you live in the NY area you probably know Kevin Burkhardt. This is himkevinburkhardt.gif: sorry if it didn't

come up. Anyway I've been meaning to give him a shout-out for a while. Why? because he got

me my first ball. Not a player. A sports reporter. Who Knew? Anyway.. Kevin you Rock. Thanks bud.

Congrats Zack

ok,  Zack Hample reached 500 balls on the season a few nights so that deserves a big round of applause.

Stuff

i was looking back at my blogs and realized i forgot to mention some stuff.

  • I am a big Mets fan just to let you know but try my best to keep my blog neutral
  • i upload a pic (duh) and added some stuff to about me
  • I never blogged about a game I went to

Trenton Thunder vs. Binghamton Mets

No BP, no balls. Game ended with Binghamton winning. Could have snagged ball at end but was facing 2 little kids so I let them duke it out. it payed off. 5 seconds later Mako Oliveras saw what I had done saw that I was absolutely decked OUT in Mets gear and gave me Nick Evan's bat that broke earlier in the game. Got Evan's, Parnell, Niese, and Murphy and many others to sign a ball. (Fernando Martinez was unfortunately on the DL0

hit counter?

Mets vs. Pirates @ PNC Park

After 2 days in Ohio and a tour of progressive field I arrived at PNC park to see the mets take on the Pirates. I had my hopes up that the Mets would win and was confident because Santana was pitching. I was one of the first 100 people or so inside. I unfortunately however did not have a ticket for the outfield so I was forced to stand by the dugout. About 30 minutes later Damion Easley came over to sign and I got him to sign a ball and a card of him with the Tigers in 2000. A few minutes later Delgado misplayed a ball a first and it hopped down into the camera well. Everyone saw it, but the security refused to get it.  (He probably thought it would be to close to exercise. More on this later I then almost got my glove confiscated for attempted the glove trick. That resulted in several people in my section booing the security guard. (There's a first). After that Ramon Castro tossed a ball into the crowd. 15 people or so reached with, but I was the only one with a glove. It was in my glove when an annoying/rude/obnoxious man knocked it out. But a little kid got so all is well. Then Kevin Burkhardt (SNY reporter) came onto the field. He was very nice to everyone and I knew he had access to the camera well. I asked him very politely if he could get the ball and he did! My first ever ball. Soon after I was asked to return to my seat. The Mets won 4-0 and Santana pitched a CG 3-hitter. After the game I tried to get a ball or an utograph but walked away empty. Then it was time for the 8 hour drive back home so I could get up at 5AM to go to band Camp.
