Stuff
i was looking back at my blogs and realized i forgot to mention some stuff.
- I am a big Mets fan just to let you know but try my best to keep my blog neutral
- i upload a pic (duh) and added some stuff to about me
- I never blogged about a game I went to
Mets vs. Pirates @ PNC Park
After 2 days in Ohio and a tour of progressive field I arrived at PNC park to see the mets take on the Pirates. I had my hopes up that the Mets would win and was confident because Santana was pitching. I was one of the first 100 people or so inside. I unfortunately however did not have a ticket for the outfield so I was forced to stand by the dugout. About 30 minutes later Damion Easley came over to sign and I got him to sign a ball and a card of him with the Tigers in 2000. A few minutes later Delgado misplayed a ball a first and it hopped down into the camera well. Everyone saw it, but the security refused to get it. (He probably thought it would be to close to exercise. More on this later I then almost got my glove confiscated for attempted the glove trick. That resulted in several people in my section booing the security guard. (There’s a first). After that Ramon Castro tossed a ball into the crowd. 15 people or so reached with, but I was the only one with a glove. It was in my glove when an annoying/rude/obnoxious man knocked it out. But a little kid got so all is well. Then Kevin Burkhardt (SNY reporter) came onto the field. He was very nice to everyone and I knew he had access to the camera well. I asked him very politely if he could get the ball and he did! My first ever ball. Soon after I was asked to return to my seat. The Mets won 4-0 and Santana pitched a CG 3-hitter. After the game I tried to get a ball or an utograph but walked away empty. Then it was time for the 8 hour drive back home so I could get up at 5AM to go to band Camp.
Milestones, Games, Stuff…
Manny Ramirez hit his 500th homer followed the next day by his 501st homer.
Johan Santana wins his 100th game.
Thunder vs. Rock Cats
I arrived 2 hours before game time so I could scout beyond the outfield fence for easter eggs. When the gates opened I went in and immediately found an easter egg behind home plate. Jason Jones then tossed me ball #2. I then got a ball from Pilittere. I then went down to the Thunder dugout and got Carlos Mendoza and Austin jackson to sign my ticket stub.
2 balls
2 autographs
Stuff…
If anyone has snagging tips for PNC Park please e-mail me.
I will be setting up a new e-mail soon.

Error on the Ump
Mets vs. Yankees. Carlos Delgado rips the ball to left. It’s fair, it’s foul It’s… FAIR. Says the third base umpire. The umpires quickly confer and overule him. After looking at the replay it is quite obvious the ball hit the foul pole, which, means it’s fair. This is why the MLB needs instant replays. It took a three-run homer away from the Mets. If it was A-Rod, that could be the homer that causes him to fall one short of the record. (Delgado is nowhere near 757.)

FIRST GAME!
ok, first I’m sorry for not posting a while, but I was busy. First, i had computer issues. Second, I just got my first game tickets of the season. Although I live near a baseball fierce area. I attend mostly minor league games because:
1. I need a ride
2. They are about $60 cheaper
3. I enjoy getting prospects autographs
4. It is a lot easier to snag balls
5. The players are friendlier
So, I’m super-siked for that. Also, I am going to be suffering from baseball withdrawl for 6 weeks this summer. Any fan knows that is torture.
Adios

Fantasy Tips
PICK UP:
Ken Griffey, Reds: Griffey has been pretty hot lately. He is smoking the ball.
Curtis Granderson, Tigers: Granderson should be back to action better than spring training. He has speed, and some pop.
DROP:
Miguel Cabrara, Tigers: Cabera recently switched places with Guillen. This could be profitable, or not. Most likely not.
Orlando Hernandez, Mets: He is a good pitcher, but he has the foot issues. DROP HIM.
Marlins: They may be in first, but it won’t last. Trade them while you still can.
HOLD ON
Carlos Beltran, Mets: Beltran is going a little slow, but he will pik up in the start of May.
J.J. Putz, Mariners: Guy pitched great before and after injury. Don’t doubt him.
A-Rod, Yankees: he be fine. Don’t get your underwear all knotted up.
HAHA
Ok couple of things. First I was watching Red Sox vs. Rangers a few nights ago. Milton Bradley hit a foul ball into the upper deck. The guy in the first row makes this nice one hand grab. He celebrates, and while he is celebrating he DROPS IT. To see the idiot click the following http://youtube.com/watch?v=7aTlUheMsys&feature=related . Also, the other day I read about a guy named Zack Hample. This dude is fricken amazing he snags baseballs searching snagging baseballs on google for that. Also if anyone knows why the ivy is absent from Wrigley Field this year please comment on that. Thanks.
